I have extensive experience in the New Zealand tourism industry, including many years as head of the Visitor Information Centre and tourism marketing organisation, for the city of Christchurch and region of Canterbury.

Having travelled widely both within New Zealand and overseas, I have found the most memorable aspect of travel is not just the attractions and activities. Equally it is the interaction with the local people, that allows an insight and better understanding of their lifestyles and culture.
